Beeswax Hand Salve for Gardener’s and Mechanics

Life can be tough on hands.

Especially if you have spent this summer digging in the dirt, or using your hands for various laborious tasks.

According to Mother Earth News, beeswax not only softens and repairs skin, but it can also help keep them healthy and free from deep-stains that settle into rough cracks.

Using about one-half of a cup of melted beeswax and lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus and coconut oils can soothe dry skin, It smells nice too!

The beeswax can be melted in a double-boiler over the stove. After melting the beeswax, add the coconut oil, and finish by stirring in the following measurements of the listed essential oils.

You will need:

6 Tablespoons Coconut Oil (melted

30 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil

5 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil

2 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
