You Will Need:
1 Sliced Apple
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon honey
3 Kale leaves
1 Peeled carrot
1 Peeled beet
1 Inch section peeled ginger
1 Slice lemon
Having a juicer will make preparing this mixture a little easier. However, if you do not have a juicer, it is possible to prepare these ingredients together in a blender.
First, begin by chopping all of your ingredients into very small pieces. This will help them blend better. If you do not have a juicer, it helps to cut your beet, carrot and apple into very small pieces, almost so they are minced.
Add your apple to the blender with water, allowing it to process on low so that it starts to liquefy. Slowly add your carrot, ginger, beet and kale. Continue to increase your blender’s speed while adding these ingredients together.
Allow this combination to become completely liquefied. Stop the blender for a moment and add your honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon, returning your blender to low for a few moments. Serve immediately with ice, or chilled if you would like.
